GreenTraINT Final Event Celebrates Collaboration and Conservation
GreenTraINT Final Event Celebrates Collaboration and Conservation
On 30 October 2026, the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA) joined partners of the GreenTraINT Erasmus+ Project at Savoy Resort & Spa, Beau Vallon, to celebrate the project’s achievements in sustainable agriculture, livestock farming and conservation.
The final event brought together all partner institutions: the Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture (SIAH), the University of Bologna, Coburg University, the University of Seychelles, Openature Foundation and SPGA. Each partner’s contribution was recognised, reflecting the strong collaboration that has shaped the project.
SPGA delivered presentations on its role in the project, including its work on communication, dissemination and project visibility. Through these efforts, SPGA helped share the project’s progress and results with a wider audience, both locally and internationally.
The programme also featured reflections from students who took part in the GreenTraINT Summer School, held from 13 to 17 July 2026, offering a valuable look at the experience from the learners’ perspective. A roundtable discussion followed, where partners exchanged views on sustainability and opportunities for future cooperation.
The celebrations continued on 31 October 2026 with the Multiplier Event at the University of Seychelles. The event brought together stakeholders to share the project’s outcomes, exchange knowledge and explore how the lessons learned can be applied in the Seychelles context.
SPGA is proud to have been part of the GreenTraINT project and extends its thanks to all partners for their dedication and collaboration. Together, we continue to strengthen international partnerships, build capacity and share knowledge towards a more sustainable future.
