Restoring Forests, Protecting Our Future

Restoring Forests, Protecting Our Future

On Friday 20th February, our Forestry and National Park team based on Mahé planted 61 mahogany seedlings at Anse Diri, Port Glaud, which is located within the Morne Seychellois National Park . This effort forms part of our ongoing reforestation initiative, ensuring that areas where timber extraction is carefully carried out and managed by our team, are continuously restored and renewed.

Reforestation is vital not only for maintaining healthy forest ecosystems, but also for protecting biodiversity, stabilizing soils, and safeguarding the natural heritage that sustains both people and our surrounding wildlife.

A big shout-out to our dedicated team who carried out this activity!
