Showcasing SPGA’s Coral Restoration Efforts at Ambition Planète Expo in Réunion

The Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA) is proud to have participated in the 4th edition of the Ambition Planète Congress Expo, which took place in Réunion. Representing the Authority, Chief Executive Officer Allen Cedras attended the event to share SPGA’s ongoing efforts in climate change adaptation and mitigation.

During his presentation, Mr. Cedras spotlighted SPGA’s Coral Restoration Programme—an initiative aimed at enhancing reef resilience and supporting marine biodiversity in the face of climate change. The programme reflects SPGA’s broader commitment to safeguarding Seychelles’ natural heritage through science-based conservation.

The Ambition Planète Expo brought together regional actors and showcased a vibrant array of terrestrial and marine initiatives from across the Indian Ocean. SPGA’s presence underscores the importance of regional collaboration in building climate resilience and promoting sustainable ocean stewardship.
