Chinese Delegation Visits Seychelles’ National Botanical Garden

On Tuesday, 28th October, the Vice Chairman of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Gao Yunlong, paid a courtesy visit to the National Botanical Garden at Mont Fleuri.

He was accompanied by Her Excellency Lin Nan, Chinese Ambassador to the Seychelles, and a delegation of officials. The group was warmly received by Ms. Lya Docteur, Deputy CEO of the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA), and Mrs. Nathachia Einfeldt, General Manager of the Gardens.

During the guided tour, Mr. Yunlong explored the Garden’s rich history and discovered its collection of iconic plant species, which reflect Seychelles’ unique biodiversity. The visit concluded with a memorable highlight—an interactive tortoise feeding experience, showcasing one of the Garden’s most beloved attractions.
