On October 24th, the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA) proudly joined the global movement for Cancer Awareness Month by donning pink across all its sections—from Mahé to Praslin and beyond. Staff members from every corner of the organization came together in a vibrant show of solidarity, wearing pink attire to honour those affected by cancer and to help raise awareness about prevention, early detection, and support.
Whether in the field or in our offices, the sea of pink was a powerful visual reminder of SPGA’s commitment towards community wellbeing. The initiative sparked meaningful conversations among colleagues, reinforcing the importance of compassion, resilience, and collective action.
