Ambassador Azais Donates Artworks Celebrating Seychelles' Flora

In a vibrant celebration of nature and culture, Her Excellency Alexandra Azais, Ambassador of Rhodes and Malta to Seychelles, has donated over 60 framed hand-painted photographic prints to the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA). The artworks, depicting native fruits and flowers of Seychelles, aim to enhance public appreciation for the nation’s rich biodiversity.

Each piece, sized 28x35 cm, features intricate details of Seychellois flora, framed with durable picoglass to ensure longevity. The collection reflects the islands’ botanical splendor, from tropical blossoms to iconic fruit species.

The donation was formally accepted by SPGA’s CEO, Deputy CEO, and Administrative Manager, who praised the gesture as a fusion of art and environmental stewardship. The artworks will be permanently displayed at SPGA’s main office and its offices based within the Botanical Garden, transforming the spaces into galleries of ecological artistry.
