Embassy of the People’s Republic of China Donates Garden Benches
The Seychelles Parks & Gardens Authority (SPGA) recently received a meaningful donation from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Seychelles—a set of beautifully crafted benches now placed within the National Botanical Garden. This generous gesture underscores the strong and fruitful cooperation between the two institutions, built on shared goals of environmental preservation.

The donation was formally accepted by CEO Allen Cedras, who expressed deep appreciation for the support, emphasizing how such collaborations significantly enhance the visitor experience and contribute to the protection of Seychelles’ rich biodiversity. The new benches will provide visitors with tranquil spots to relax, reflect, and connect with nature, making the Botanical Garden an even more welcoming space for both locals and tourists. The SPGA deeply values and appreciates the ongoing partnership with the embassy.
The Ambassador Lin Nan and CEO Cedras also discussed potential avenues for further collaboration, highlighting their shared commitment to sustainable development, conservation, and cultural exchange. Both parties agreed that continued cooperation would not only benefit their respective organizations but also serve to strengthen the bonds between Seychelles and China.
